Why Paranda.co??

What started as a student led venture began with a simple memory ‘my nani wearing a paranda while doing her daily chores and moving through the courtyard’
That memory stayed with me and inspired me to create Paranda

In the beginning, every paranda was handmade by me. My mother taught me how to make and weave parandas, and I spent countless hours learning the craft, creating each piece with care and a lot of love for our culture. What started as a small passion project slowly grew into something bigger 

It’s simple, really

Pakistan's summers often mean keeping our hair tied up, but we wanted it to be done in a way that feels beautiful too. A paranda keeps your hair secure while adding colour, character, and a touch of culture to your everyday look

As our Paranda family grew, so did our purpose

Today, we work with women from underprivileged communities through NGO partnerships, training them in the art of weaving and paranda making. Every piece is handmade with care, and every artisan is paid fairly for her skill and craftsmanship.
